“I’ve been a storyteller for as long as I can remember. My earliest memory is inventing stories for my parents in my childhood home in rural Kent. That beautiful but unsettling house became the subject of my first novel.
I still live in Kent – in a small coastal town called Folkestone, which has a thriving creative community that I value a great deal. Kent is known as the Garden of England and I gain tremendous inspiration from its varied landscapes, but often from the less garden-like parts!”
